ESPINOSA gains support TO GET TO THE UN

This Thursday, the plenary session of the Andean Parliament resolved in Bogota, Colombia, to support the candidacy of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador, María Fernanda Espinosa, for the presidency of the 73rd session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
According to the agency, the support to Espinosa is because her candidacy promotes “an ambitious but coherent and achievable agenda, necessary at a time when multilateralism, democracy and governance face political, social and economic challenges,” which demand, “exercising a transformative, inclusive and pluralist leadership “.
