The Foreign Minister talks about women’s rights with the well-known African activist Fatoumata Tambajang

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Human Mobility of Ecuador, María Fernanda Espinosa, held a meeting at the United Nations with the renowned defender of women’s rights and human rights Fatoumata Tambajang, current vice president of Gambia.
The dialogue took place on the occasion of the 62nd session of the Commission on the Status of Women -CSW62- where Minister Espinosa participates to present Ecuador´s progress on this matter and ratify the country’s commitment in this regard.
At her meeting, the Ecuadorian diplomat congratulated Tambajang for her work in favor of women’s rights and gender equality. In the same way, the vice president of Gambia said that Latin America is also a reference for Africa.
